You Must Believe In Your Life

You must believe in your life even when you have no news to share: no job offers, no

revelations, no letters of acceptance.

We all want to be loved for who we are, and our desire to share news is often an expression of our wish for others to see us in a certain light. But we put ourselves in a vulnerable position this way, for others are free to fail to see us as we are, free to misunderstand us, free to be indifferent.

And so you must remember that you are greater than the sum of all your experiences. You are working on a life whose progress cannot be seen only in what you have gained or accomplished, just as a camera cannot fully capture the growth of a plant or child. One day there are seeds, then suddenly sprouts.

So today, do your best to sow seeds of love in your heart. Your love for yourself and others may not seem newsworthy, but it is the source of all the good news that ever has been, or ever will be.
